Cookie Policy
Riverine Solutions LLC · Last updated: April 12, 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Riverine Solutions LLC ("Riverine", "we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on the Auremis platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a web application. We also use related browser storage technologies — specifically localStorage and sessionStorage — to store your preferences locally on your device without transmitting them to our servers.
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
Supabase Auth sets a session cookie to keep you authenticated while you are logged in. This cookie is essential to the operation of the platform and cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in functionality. It expires when your session ends or after a configurable inactivity period.
Functional / Preference
We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your UI preferences on your own device. This includes your theme selection (dark/light), sidebar collapse state, onboarding status, and similar display settings. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers or third parties.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the platform — including pages visited, features used, and session duration. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device for this purpose. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Marketing
We do not use any advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Third-Party Cookies
The following third-party services may set cookies or access browser storage in connection with your use of Auremis:
- Supabase — authentication session management (strictly necessary).
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (see Section 2 above).
No other third-party scripts, advertising networks, or tracking pixels are loaded on the platform.
4. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting the Supabase session cookie will sign you out. Blocking it will prevent sign-in from working. Below are links to cookie settings for common browsers:
5. Cookie Consent
The strictly necessary cookie (Supabase auth session) does not require consent under applicable ePrivacy rules because it is essential to a service you have explicitly requested. The Google Analytics cookie is subject to your browser-level consent or opt-out settings. We do not display a cookie banner because we do not use any consent-dependent cookies beyond analytics, which you can opt out of at any time.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new cookie categories or materially change how we use cookies, we will update this policy with a new "Last Updated" date and notify you via in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
